Throughout my childhood, adolescence, and early adulthood, I struggled with abdominal pain and changes in bowel movements. All tests were inconclusive, and I was diagnosed with classic irritable bowel syndrome, or what I later discovered to be Small Intestinal Bacterial Overgrowth (SIBO). I was intolerant to various foods and had to avoid certain foods for a year as early as elementary school. Through this intense personal experience, I have been continuously expanding my knowledge in gut health for over 10 years. A key to helping many people has been understanding SIBO. Therefore, my goal is to pass this knowledge on to other therapists, helping as many people as possible with gastrointestinal issues.
