Throughout my childhood, adolescence, and early adulthood, I struggled with abdominal pain and changes in bowel movements. All tests were inconclusive, and I was diagnosed with classic irritable bowel syndrome, or what I later discovered to be Small Intestinal Bacterial Overgrowth (SIBO).
